From July 26 to 29, 2021, Interco Nouvelle-Aquitaine accompanied representatives of Slivino Family Winery from the Mykolaïv region in Ukraine on technical visits to emblematic vineyards and nurseries in the region.
A very rich and diversified agenda characterized the 4 days of visits in Bordeaux region: Châteaux Bel-Air Delage, Châteaux d’Angludet, Château Giscours, Châteaux Palmer, Château Dillon, Château Denis Dubourdieu and Vieux Puit nursery.
The family business, represented by its owners Molchanov Geogiy and Molchanov Mykhailo, came to France with the objective to understand and learn from the French wine industry to exchange experiences and technical know-how. The visit started in Languedoc Roussillon in the vineyards of Gérard Bertrand, Olivier Pithon and Binet-Jacquet.
Highlights of this visit: the discovery of Château Dillon, educational support of the agricultural and viticultural high school of Blanquefort for a first glimpse of the wine training as it is given in France and the meeting with Cécile Maraschetti, in charge of the breeding pole (sheep, cows…) of Château Giscours.
This visit allowed us to identify the needs of Slivino Winery and the Ukrainian wine industry, which are opportunities for French suppliers and equipment manufacturers.
Contacts have been made, and exchanges will continue and will become a reality during the Vinitech-Innovation Tour Ukraine from November 9 to 14, 2021.
Organized by Inno’vin with the support of Interco, Vinitech-Sifel and ISVV, it is a “all-included” program of B2B meetings, vineyard visits, networking meetings, organized within the framework of the VIth National Forum of Ukrainian Wine and Mykolaiv Wine Festival.
