3 Kosovar professionals visit Nouvelle-Aquitaine from May 30 to June 9, 2023

-The Nouvelle-Aquitaine partners welcomed 2 agro-business master’s students from Ukshin Hoti University and the vineyard manager and import/export manager from Kosova Wine.

-Program to discover the wine education system and technical visits in collaboration with :

-the 4 estates of the partner establishments: EPLEFPA de Bordeaux Gironde (Château Dillon, Château Grand Baril, Château La Tour Blanche for EPLEFPA de Bordeaux Gironde and Château Luchey Halde for Bordeaux Sciences Agro), Bordeaux Sciences Agro (Château Luchey Halde for Bordeaux Sciences Agro), Bordeaux Sciences Agro (Château Luchey Halde for Bordeaux Sciences Agro), Bordeaux Sciences Agro (Château Luchey Halde for Bordeaux Sciences Agro).

-Farms in the production region: château du Petit Val (Saint-Emilion), château Tournefeuille (Saint-Emilion – Pomerol), domaine Pommies (Cognac), les pépinières du Vieux Puit

-Institut des Sciences de la vigne et du Vin (ISVV) and Vinopole for fundamental and applied research and technical analysis (soil, wine, corks, etc.).

-Vinopôle (for analyses)

-La Cité du Vin and Saint-Emilion for wine tourism.

Results obtained :

-Increased awareness among Kosovar professionals of the importance of establishing training programs linked to the industry and the professional world, and of the importance of fields of application to complement scientific and theoretical skills with technical skills.

-Links have been created between students from the University of Prizren and Kosova Wine professionals.

-Acquisition of new technical knowledge on the appellation system, the quality of materials and corks in particular.
